Edith Stein - Convert, Nun, Martyr

Edith Stein - Convert, Nun, Martyr

"..the role of companionship. This involves sharing the life of another, entering into it and making that person’s concerns one’s own."

:) Praise God for peoplely persons!.. They're amazing.

Stein wrote: “On the question of relating to our fellowman — our neighbor’s spiritual need transcends every commandment. Everything else we do is a means to an end. But love is an end already, since God is love.”

And that's just a few bits.. Reeeeeeeeeeeead it! Solid!

Reflection

I'm usually harsher on this.
I usually try and get down to the extreme vibes I'm getting and need to wack it down. I get more deeper revelations that I write down in little books, but they are usually personal, and in the past have been a 'mixed bag of fruit'!

Same with this blog.. Mixed bag! Although more lemony/limey. Very sharp; to the point. Highly strung.

We use the word love in such a refined context. Love; a spiritual connection 'thing' between a man and a woman of maturity.
Love is a word which in some minds only invisions sex.
God has shown (and is showing) me different.

Love in greater terms, is all that stuff between mates and family; respect, joy, support, etc.

The lonely seek love of all kinds.
The love of God. Sweet!

Sirharris.com: I Don't Care About The Air

Think about the environment!

Think of the earth plates like flat croutons on soup.

Think of heating up the soup to boiling point, volcanic erruptions, eathquakes?

System of an Up!

A system that does everything, isn't necessarily a good one!

BBC NEWS | Magazine | An act of God?

BBC NEWS | Magazine | An act of God?

Biiiingo!
Out of man's mouth comes words; see if you can see God talking through any of them?

Funny how people of different faiths and beliefs have different opinions. Funny how the people of the same faith might have different opinions too.
Question is, which opinions will stand and which will fall? :)

The truth is the truth, and will not fall!.

Things Change

One thing we all forget and get uncomfortable about is change.

We all change; all of the time, whether mentally, physically, spiritually, etc.

When you 'keep in touch' with someone, you are inevitably updating your character profile of that person within your head.

Sometimes people say "Some people don't change!"; usually light heartedly, fair enough, but we secret would like to think people don't change, or that we can judge and lord over people and understand them 100%. Maybe you can, or maybe you can't.

I'm not too certain we can.

No-one knows you more than yourself? No..
God does.

Small things you can identify in your life like why you've changed character, because of this and that etc.
Sometimes I'm getting the vibe I use my changes and the situation I'm in as an excuse to be something I shouldn't, e.g. I'm hurt so I have a licence to hurt others, etc.

Jesus defies all this..
"Father forgive them for they don't know what they do!"
They know, to a personal degree, why they're doing it, but they don't actually twig who Jesus really is.
I'm not being anti-semetic or whatever they call it, fact of the arguement of Romans or Jews put Jesus on the cross is irrelevant; what is relevant, is that human kind put Jesus on the cross!

We are all sinners, all part of the big sin machine that produces trouble, suffering and chaos. The question is what are you going to do about it?

Change the world? Start with yourself, with God! :)

"For while we were still sinners [in our own ways] Christ died for us"

In natural distasters there's no point in blaming God.
Is it God's will? I dunno.

But that don't matter for now, what matters is how are you gong to react to the appeal?
What can we do to stop it next time?
Lets change and grow. Let us learn.
