Rrrromans

Yep. Started reading it a couple of days back; only a chapter a day, mind you!

Funnily enough, Word on the web gave me a good, yet premature, insight into Romans chapter 6.
It was basically saying, that Paul was saying, "Don't force the belief on someone".

Damn! I was all hoping for a revolution of the Spanish Inquisition. :).
Jokes aside though, I used to run such a mockery of a system; to my shame!
(I like to show people the door, that's for sure!)

It's quite hard to pick that up from the scriptures they gave, but then again, this kind of occurance can occur.. I probably need discernment and a bit of 'chewing' on this scripture.
Seeking the way of truth, as I'm finding, isn't all as simple as I first perceived.

Thank God for forgiveness.

I know, I know.. I should be using my own words, but the bible is sooo gooood..

(Preferance.. Job is said as 'Jobe' or 'Joow-b!', for the people out there!)

Ok.. the story so far; Job had everything, bling-bling! God and Satan having a arguement about how cool Job is and God (knowing Job to be a top bloke) allows Satan to torment Job to prove Job's top-ness to Him!
So as it goes.. Job is merry, then blap! Lost it. Gone. All possessions. Everything. Job gets seriously ill with boils on his skin. He's in pure agony, physically, mentally, spiritually and even Job's wife says to shout abuse to God so he'd shutup and die.
His mates come round with 'get well soon' cards, even they weep at the sight.
Then his mates try and sort him out maybe think of ways why he's in such a mess.
They say he's sinned and he should say sorry to God and do the 'sacrificy thing' and that 'this' is the cause for 'that', and that he's evil and heap abuse on poor Job. Job defends himself duly with the truth that he's safe and that what they're saying is a load of bananas.
Job and his friends keep on exchanging words of wisdom in an all out battle-fest!
Then at the end God buts in. This is what He says to Job and crew..
Job 38
Job 39
Job 40
Job 41
Job 42
It's a lot easier if you grabbed a bible and read it yourself; streamline!
This is a bit of a slog over the web, but hey, better than nothing! :)

Thirst for more Truth

Never satisfied in this department!
I need more.
True Truth, of course! :)

Jesus bless you for watching!
