Grumpy against the World Cup

The reasons I'm not 100% with the World Cup

1) I get (even more than usual) drunken people causing problems, and people singing England late at night!
Well done drunken man!!!
I'm sure if they shouted loud enough the team in Germany might hear them and say, "Gosh! That chap in England has been giving us some support, that'll help me in the game tomorrow!"

2) I'm also sick of the stupid flags people adorn from their car. I am not feeling it!
You can buy trays, buckets and england supporting toilet paper (probably, somewhere?!). Who isn't endorsing into the World Cup??? Is it really necessary?

3) English or other top International players get payed loads, where other players get paid peanuts, and we're all singing "Come on England!" ?

4) The whole of the UK halts while people skip off early from work to watch a silly match were people run up and down kicking a ball.

5) The very thing that encourages people to be more 'sporty' and exercise is in fact doing the opposite. Sit in you arm chair, drink lots of alcohol, eat junk food, and then be taken on a roller-coaster of a ride of emoitions, leaving people in the most extreme, and hormonally unstable state!

6) A clever chap once said, "A British football supporter is depressed when their team loses, and is still depressed when the team wins!" or something that!

7) The Glory hardly lasts!

On the positive..

1) People get a sense of community, although they won't do anything to support the community!

2) People can talk to each other using a topic other than the weather!

3) People can wear a football shirt, get drunk and sing like an ape-man! Like they do every Saturday.

Um that's it!

Sorry for my negativity. I'm sure it will pass!
